Lib Dems showcase Birmingham for their spring conference Tue 9th Mar 2010 The spring conference of the Liberal Democrats is coming to Birmingham. Party leader Nick Clegg MP, supported by Shadow Chancellor, Vince Cable MP and other top members of the Liberal Democrat team will meet at the International Conference Centre in Birmingham's city centre from Friday 12 - Sunday 14 March.

Speaking Out Against Hate Crime Wed 20th Jan 2010 Liberal Democrat Councillor Ann Holtom is lending her full support to a major new campaign against hate crime in Birmingham. The campaign, launched by the Safer Birmingham crimefighting Partnership, aims to raise awareness about religious and homophobic crime and encourage victims not to "put up" with it.
