Nick Clegg listens to the people - party election broadcast tonight

4.10.16pm BST (GMT +0100) Fri 8th May 2009

Nick Clegg

Nick Clegg has been listening to the voters at Town Hall style meetings - now you can hear some of what he has been saying

The first of the Liberal Democrats party election broadcasts for the European elections and the English local elections will be on TV this evening, (8 May 2009).

Ever since he became Party Leader, Nick Clegg has been travelling around the country holding regular town hall meetings. These have been really successful, with people across the country getting the chance to put their questions to Nick, who has found them enjoyable and engaging.

The election broadcasts - "Conversations with Nick Clegg" - feature one of these meetings, showing Nick putting the Liberal Democrat case directly to the electorate.

The first broadcast will be on at the following times this evening:

BBC One: 6.55pm

BBC Two: 5.55pm

ITV1: 6.25pm

Five: 6.55pm

S4C: 7.25pm in Welsh, 11.40pm in English

If you miss any of these or if you'd like a sneak preview right now, you can watch the film on our YouTube channel. Watching, rating (positively we hope !) and commenting on YouTube also increases the chances of the video being found and watched by other people.
